Fan-tastic! Supporters convince themselves their current manager is the ‘best the club’s ever had’

A football fan has revealed that his club’s current manager is the best the club has ever had.

The fan decided to share his epiphany with other followers of a Facebook group set up solely to sing the praises of the club he supports.

And the comments – made in the wake of a euphoric derby win against the club’s biggest rivals – certainly hit a nerve with other fans, who showed their unanimous appreciation by liking the post.

Other fans also replied to the comment by stating they too agreed that their current manager was the best the club had ever had, offering evidence to back up their claims with statements such as ‘he shows passion’, ‘really gets the fans’ and posting GIFs of him celebrating a winning goal in a match of nostalgic importance.

More militant fans also proved that their club’s current manager was the best the club had ever had by comparing moments which shed rival club managers in a poor light directly against situations which portrayed their club’s current manager in a very favourable fashion.

Fans also agreed that their club’s current manager, the best the club has ever had, is even better than the previous manager, who also held the title of the best the club has ever had until his team started to lose a bit more often and they all lost patience and demanded the best manager the club had ever had up until that point be sacked in the hope that they could replace him with the best manager the club had ever had.

They also ruled out believing that the next person to manage the club will also become the best manager the club has ever had, mainly because the current manager – and best manager the club has ever had – really gets the club and fans and looks likely to stay in the job and win trophies for a very long time, unless his team start to lose a bit more often and then they will all lose patience and demand he be sacked.
