Online bookshop Amazon have won the right to deliver Premier League football to your living room… or your neighbour’s house if you’re not in.
The American online streaming service has been successful in its bid to show 20 matches per season for the next three years – but not all fans are happy.
“If I want to watch my team but I’m 10 minutes late getting home then I’ve been told they’ll just dump the game on at Gladys’ next door and leave me a note,” said supporter Billy Armchair.
“Either that or they’ll stick it on in the shed and I won’t realise until three days later when I need to stick some oil in the car.”
Amazon are promising to stream all 10 Premier League matches on Boxing Day.
“That’s a big package for very little,” said TV expert Cath Thode.
“But if it’s no good then I’ll just send it back the next day.”
